To connect, for me, is about being present in the moment - which of course, I am mostly not.
I've realised more as the years pass that this is one of the joys I gain from some of my favourite things in life. This includes playing music, flying kites, going running, and of course meditation itself. All of these activities provide an opportunity to be present in the moment, otherwise they may not be experienced to the fullest. For example, if my mind wonders why I play a song, I don’t really listen. If I'm present, then I connect with what I'm hearing - because that is all that is in my mind in that moment. These moments are some of the most beautiful that I experience and when I feel most connected and free.
I've enjoyed your posts that I've been able to engage with and think that the way you reflect and share is beautiful - so thank you.
There were many signs of pausing throughout the year, but I kept moving forward. But what was I moving towards ~ job, wealth?
Beyond my window is a beautiful creation that I most appreciate and respect as it is a form of the divine; my go-to moments are when I am up in the forest with the trees and watching how the insects work together.
Recently I found myself disconnected; what shook me was beyond my window, all that I knew so well to be temporary; which followed a reconnect.
What are your favourite ways of disconnecting to connect?
My favourite ways to disconnect to connect are meditation and being in nature.
In what ways can you learn to pivot in your life so that renewal can take place?
Continue to be in touch with my intuition – more trust and surrender.
Stretch my comfort zone, not being too cautious about taking action based on how it will land/receive.
Always have the mindset to serve.
To love. I found the more I love; the more curious of how I can express that love to others brings joy and renewal.
